Ajanta Ellora Tour
The world famous Ellora Caves lie elegantly 30 km from Aurangabad (Maharashtra)
in Charnadari Hills of Deccan. Renowned for its unmatched architectural beauty,
Ellora Caves have been designated as World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Abode to many
of architecturally excellent Hindu, Jain and Buddhist temples, Ellora Caves constitute
a vast tourist attraction.
Day 01 :- Mumbai
Arrival at Mumbai airport. After the traditional welcome transfer to the hotel for
check in. Overnight stay at the hotel in Mumbai. Overnight

Day 02 :- Mumbai
Early morning drive to Gateway of India built in 1927 and then transfer via boat
to Elephanta Caves, a world heritage site.The caves are about 30 – 45 minutes by
boat off the coast of Mumbai. The most important sculpture of Elephanta caves is
of Trimurti Sadasiva. Upon your return, take a walk through the harbour area. Also
enjoy sightseeings in Mumbai including visits to Gandhi Museum & Hanging Gardens.

Day 03 :- Mumbai – Aurangabad – Ellora Caves
Early morning transfer to the airport to board the flight to Aurangabad. After a
short break, leave for an excursion to the World Heritage Monument of Ellora Caves.
The caves were built during 7th - 10th century AD and contain art and sculptures
related to Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism religions.

Day 04 :- Aurangabad – Ajanta Caves – Aurangabad
Aurangabad After breakfast leave for Ajanta caves another World Heritage Site. The
rock-cut cave monuments of Ajanta, contain paintings and sculpture considered to
be masterpieces of both "Buddhist religious art" and "universal pictorial art. Overnight - Hotel
Day 05 :- Aurangabad – Hyderabad
Drive to Hyderabad after the early morning breakfast. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 06 :- Hyderabad
Full day Hyderabad sightseeing including visit to Char Minar, Salarjung Museum and
also to local bazaars. Overnight - Hotel
Day 07 :- Hyderabad – Gulbarga (Via Bidar)
Today, explore the Golconda fort, followed by drive to Gulbarga via Bidar. At Bidar
visit Rangin Mahal, Sola Kamabah Masjid and the Gagan Mahal.

Day 08 :- Gulbarga – Bijapur
Explore Gulbarga which is a good example of the integration of two cultures and
then visit to the Fort. Transfer to Bijapur after lunch. Overnight stay at Bijapur.

Day 09 :- Bijapur – Badami
Today, tour Bijapur which will include the visit to Gol Gumbazas, Ibrahim Roza,
Juma Masjid. Later transfer to Badami and in between the transfer visit Aihole as
the 'cradle of Indian architecture'. Overnight - Hotel
Day 10 :- Badami – Hospet
In the morning visit the main attraction of Badami i.e. Cave temples. Then transfer
to Hopset and en route visit Pattadakal, situated on the banks of the Malaprabha
river and known for its Chalukyan architecture. Overnight

Day 11 :- Hospet – Hampi – Hospet
Today, tour one of the largest empires in the history of India which is in ruins
i.e. Hampi or Vijayanagar. After exploring the ruined kingdom return back to Hospet.

Early morning drive to Mumbai. Overnight - Hotel
Day 13 :- Mumbai
Transfer to the railway station / airport for the onward destination.
