Darjeeling Hill Tour - 5 days
Darjeeling is the most important and organized hill resort of Indian state of West
Bengal. Darjeeling lies 686 kms from the plains of Kolkata perched at a height of
2134 meters with a backdrop of the mighty snow clad Himalayan Peaks
Day 01: New Jalpaiguri/Bagdogra-Darjeeling
On arrival in New Jalpaiguri Railway station/ Bagdogra Airport, our representative
would meet you and transfer you to Darjeeling (100 Kms/4hrs). Check in at the hotel
after arrival. Rest of the day is at leisure. After relaxation you can go outside
for a walk in the local markets to buy something special of the place.

Day 02: Darjeeling
Very early in the morning (at around 0300 hrs), we take you to Tiger Hill to catch
a glimpse of sunrise over Kanchandzonga (Subject to clear weather conditions). On
the way back you can see Batasia Loop-the point where the rail tracks spiral around
over itself through a tunnel and over a hilltop to reduce the gradient of ascent
and Ghoom Monastery. Evening is free for leisure activities or for a joy train ride
in Toy Train (optional). Overnight - Hotel
Day 03: Darjeeling
After breakfast, we will take you for a full day excursion trip of Darjeeling including
HMI (Himalayan Mountaineering Institute), Zoological Gardens, and Dhirdham temple,
Happy Valley Tea Estate, Tenzing, Gombu Rock, Peace Pagoda and Japanese temple.

Day 04: Darjeeling - Gangtok
After breakfast, we will take transfer you to Gangtok (100 Kms/3hrs). After relaxation
we take you for a half day excursion trip of Gangtok including Ganesh Tok and Hanuman
Tok and Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Banjhakari Falls, Tashi View Point etc,
Rumtek Monastery etc. Overnight - Hotel
Day 05: Gangtok
Early in the morning, we take you to an excursion trip to Tsongo Lake or Changu
Lake which is a glacial lake in East Sikkim, and Baba Harbhajan Temple- a temple
made and revered by soldiers to owner a famous Indian Army officer named Captain
Baba Harbhajan Singh. Overnight - Hotel
Optional tour to Nathu La Pass (on prior request only)
Nathu La Pass is a mountain pass in the Himalayas which connects the Indian state
of Sikkim with China's Tibet Autonomous Region. The pass is at 4,310 m (14,140 ft)
above mean sea level, and forms a part of the ancient Silk Road. Visit to Nathu
La Pass depends on availability of permits and road conditions. For visiting Nathu
La Pass, a special permission is required from Indian Army. Please note that the
pass is closed on Mondays & Tuesdays every week and in the winter.
Day 06: Gangtok- New Jalpaiguri/Bagdogra
After breakfast, it would be departure for New Jalpaiguri Railway Station/Bagdogra
Airport (110 kms/4 hours) for onward/return journey.
